About Ayvens
Ayvens is a vehicle leasing and fleet management group created when ALD Automotive completed its acquisition of LeasePlan in May 2023. The combined business announced the Ayvens name in October 2023 and began rolling out the identity across its major markets from the start of 2024. The group is owned by Société Générale and its shares trade on Euronext Paris. Tim Albertsen was group chief executive when the brand was announced. The company provides full-service leasing and fleet management to corporate clients, small businesses and individuals. According to its full-year 2025 results, published in February 2026, the managed fleet stood at about 3.175 million vehicles at the end of the year, down 3.2 percent from a year earlier. Full-service leasing contracts numbered about 2.525 million and fleet management contracts about 650,000. Net income group share rose 45.7 percent to EUR 996 million from EUR 684 million in 2024. Battery-electric vehicles made up 32 percent of new deliveries and plug-in hybrids 11 percent. The integration of the ALD and LeasePlan businesses has involved consolidating overlapping country operations, and in the United Kingdom the company named Bristol as its head office, closing the former LeasePlan site in Slough. In the Gulf, the group's presence is LeasePlan Emirates, which has operated in the UAE since 2006 and offers operational leasing to corporates, small businesses and individuals from offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah. It began as an Abu Dhabi joint venture between LeasePlan and Mubadala, with AED 10 million of paid-up capital, and Mubadala's business-services company Solutions+ is the local partner. LeasePlan's UAE website said the Ayvens brand would be introduced in the country in 2025. In November 2025 LeasePlan Emirates launched Tesla leasing options for UAE customers. In 2026, BlueFive Capital announced it had acquired a 49 percent stake in LeasePlan Emirates from Ayvens through its Reef PE Fund I, with Solutions+ retaining the remaining 51 percent. BlueFive said the business manages a fleet of about 7,000 vehicles and that it intends to speed up growth, make greater use of technology and add environmentally friendly transport products. The financial terms were not disclosed.
