About Assaia International AG
Assaia develops aviation software that helps airports, airlines and ground handlers understand what is happening around an aircraft between arrival and departure. Its computer vision systems analyse apron activity and turn video into operational information, giving teams a shared view of the aircraft turnaround. The software is designed to support decisions about punctuality, gate availability, safety and emissions during ground operations.
The company serves international aviation customers including Seattle-Tacoma Airport, Alaska Airlines, British Airways, JFK International Airport and Toronto Pearson Airport. Its products include ApronAI, TurnaroundControl, ResourceManager, SafetyControl and EmissionsControl, covering different aspects of airport operations. Assaia also operates a Strategic Partner Community through which airports and airlines contribute operational requirements.
Assaia is based in Zurich, Switzerland, and also maintains a United States presence. Max Diez is chairman and co-founder, Dmitry Chugreev is chief technology officer and co-founder, and Christiaan Hen leads the company as chief executive. In December 2025, Assaia announced a $26.6 million Series B round led by Armira Growth to expand its platform and develop additional products. The company participated in Intelak's fifth accelerator cohort.
