About Ansab General Contracting
Ansab General Contracting Company, which uses the name Ansab on its website, is a Saudi infrastructure and road contractor. Its listed services include water and sewer networks, sewage treatment plants, water desalination plants, rainwater drainage, medium- and low-voltage electric networks, street and parking lighting, communication networks, topographic and marine survey, road works, and street layout and landscaping.
The website says Ansab began work in 1992, starting with small infrastructure projects before taking part in larger projects across the Kingdom. Its projects page reports more than 120 executed projects covering over 87.9 million square meters in the Eastern and Central regions. The chairman's message on the site is signed by Saad Sulaib Al Otaibi as General Manager, and a news item on the site refers to Saad Al-Otaibi as board chairman.
The company's news pages, which are mostly undated, report agreements to build infrastructure for Dammam land developments, including plans developed by Al Mudallah Real Estate and an agreement with Asas & Arbah for the Rethan investment plan. Another item says Saudi Aramco featured Ansab's road and asphalt work in a promotional film.
Ansab says it holds ISO 9001:2015 quality management certification, in a post dated June 2019, and OHSAS 18001:2007 occupational health and safety certification, in a post dated March 2019. Neither page names the certifying body.
In July 2026 Saudi Downtown Company, a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund, awarded Ansab design and infrastructure works for the Al Khobar Downtown mixed-use project, including road networks, street lighting, utilities and internal roads. The contract value was not disclosed. In the same month Ansab was named as the contractor responsible for infrastructure across the three phases of a 320,000 square meter logistics city planned north of Jeddah by Missan for Real Estate Development, financed through a SAR 650 million logistics fund. The project is targeted to launch at the end of 2027.
