About Aman Holding

Aman Holding is an Egyptian financial services group and a portfolio company of Raya Holding for Financial Investments. Its website lists payment, consumer finance, business finance and banking agent services, including more than 150 payment services, an installment limit and point-of-sale tools. Raya's site describes three subsidiaries: Aman for E-Payments, established in 2016, Aman for Fintech, established in 2017, and Aman for Microfinance, established in 2018.

Forbes Middle East, in its Top 30 Fintech Companies list published on 9 April 2023, ranked Aman Holding twelfth, gave its founding year as 2015 and named Mohamed Wahby and Hazem Moghazi as founders. Other sources date its units from 2016 to 2018. Aman's board page lists Wahby and Moghazi as co-chief executives and board members, and Ayman Bassiouny as chief financial officer. Raya Holding was founded in 1999 and has been listed on the Egyptian Exchange since 2005.

Aman's site states that it has more than 250 branches, more than 40 million clients, more than 150,000 point-of-sale terminals and more than 200,000 merchants, without dating the figures. Forbes Middle East reported 163 offices, 230 retail stores and transaction volume of 1.5 billion dollars in 2022, up from 1.3 billion in 2021. Menastartupdigest put Aman's 2025 revenue at 9.6 billion Egyptian pounds, up 49 percent from 2024.

In November 2020 Raya's board gave preliminary approval to sell a 24 percent stake in Aman Group to the National Bank of Egypt; the report did not give a price or confirm completion. Aman signed a non-binding agreement with Jarir Marketing, reported in early 2025, to set up a Saudi consumer finance company. In February 2026 Enterprise reported preliminary Saudi Central Bank approval, which is not a licence, with Jarir holding 49 percent, Aman 40 percent and the Almanea trading company 11 percent.

In March 2026 the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency agreed to provide Aman Holding with a 300 million pound facility for lending to small businesses, and in August 2026 it reported a further 250 million pound facility aimed at microenterprises.
