About Allocator One

Allocator One is a Vienna-based platform that anchors emerging fund managers. It invests as a limited partner in first- and second-time venture capital, buyout and single-deal funds rather than directly in start-ups. Its homepage describes anchor tickets of USD 1 million to 10 million for venture funds, EUR 2 million to 15 million for small and mid-market buyout funds, and EUR 250,000 to 3 million for single-deal vehicles.

The company was founded by Michael Ströck and Felix Staeritz, who a case study on the website of their operations platform Infra One describes as having built and exited start-ups, co-founded venture firms and raised small funds. According to that case study, the idea began in early 2023 when fund operations for first-time managers still ran on spreadsheets and email, and Allocator One has committed to more than 30 funds globally since 2024, anchoring 20 of them. The same case study says it focuses on Fund I and Fund II vehicles under USD 50 million. Keyvan Rahnamoon is listed on the website as Senior Investment Manager.

Allocator One works with Infra One, which handles fund formation, administration, accounting and compliance. The case study lists activity in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, the Cayman Islands, Singapore, India and the United Arab Emirates. It names four products: GP1 Seed, which provides USD 1 million to 5 million of working capital for new managers; GP1 Commit, which finances a manager's own fund commitment; Alpha Protocol, a co-investment structure; and Time Machine, a dual-pricing SPV.

The website lists backed managers including New Renaissance Ventures, Accessum Capital, Mindfulness Capital, The Nordic Web, Vanagon, Park Rangers Capital, Blueprint Ventures and The Creator Fund. In September 2025 it was named anchor of the Sarat Ventures Y Innovations Biotech Fund (UK), a fund announced with an expected size of about USD 50 million for biotechnology companies tied to Saudi Arabia. The case study reports an annual deployment run rate above EUR 125 million.
