The FII Institute and HUMAIN have announced a strategic partnership to advance global AI leadership, infrastructure, and policy ahead of the FII9 conference in Riyadh.

The Future Investment Initiative (FII) Institute and HUMAIN have entered into a strategic collaboration aimed at advancing global artificial intelligence leadership and developing human-centric AI systems. The partnership was announced ahead of the upcoming FII9 Conference in Riyadh, scheduled for October 27–30, 2025, where global policymakers, investors, and innovators are expected to converge under the theme “The Key to Prosperity: Unlocking New Frontiers of Growth.”

According to the official announcement, the collaboration will focus on developing frameworks that combine AI innovation with ethical governance, education, and long-term impact strategies. It aims to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s role as a hub for responsible and scalable AI solutions, leveraging HUMAIN’s infrastructure and the Institute’s convening power across sectors.

Founded earlier in 2025 and backed by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), HUMAIN operates as a full-stack AI company, building Arabic-first large language models, edge computing solutions, and next-generation data centers. Its ecosystem includes partnerships with major technology firms such as NVIDIA, AMD, and Amazon Web Services, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s growing ambitions to localize AI capabilities.

The collaboration with the FII Institute will extend beyond research and policy to include AI applications in healthcare, energy, finance, and climate solutions. The Institute known for its Impact on Humanity framework is expected to integrate HUMAIN’s technical expertise into its broader mission of promoting sustainable global growth and innovation.

FII9 comes at a time of accelerating investment and competition in AI. Global players like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google DeepMind have continued to push the boundaries of generative AI and model deployment. In parallel, Saudi Arabia has positioned itself as a key emerging player in the sector, with initiatives such as the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) and multi-billion-dollar investments in digital infrastructure.

The partnership between HUMAIN and the FII Institute underscores how the Kingdom’s AI strategy is expanding from national infrastructure to global influence, combining local capacity building with international collaboration. As FII9 approaches, more details are expected to emerge around joint programs, innovation zones, and frameworks for AI ethics and interoperability.
