About فالنتس
Velents is an enterprise AI company based in Riyadh that builds Arabic-language AI agents for businesses and public bodies. Wamda describes its main product, Agent.sa, as an Arabic-speaking AI employee that handles calls, WhatsApp conversations, order tracking and data analysis. The company operates in Saudi Arabia and Egypt and moved into Bahrain in 2026.
Mohamed Gaber and Abdulaziz Almuhaydib founded Velents in 2020 as an AI recruitment software company. According to Wamda, Gaber is chief executive and Almuhaydib chief operating officer. TechScoop reports that the company relaunched in 2023 as an enterprise AI business built by a joint Egyptian-Saudi team. Egyptinnovate describes Egypt as its development hub.
The company's website lists Velents Agent for meeting transcription and summaries, an AI Recruiter, an API, Agent.sa, Safha for invoice and purchase-order processing and answers drawn from internal documents, and Velents Box for self-hosting. Egyptinnovate says Safha was built with the Saudi company Elm. The website presents case studies for the Egyptian Ministry of Communications, the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources, SAB Bank and Al Mashari'a Al Oula. It states that Velents is SOC 2 certified and compliant with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law, with hosting in Saudi Arabia.
In September 2026, on the sidelines of LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, Velents signed an agreement with stc Bahrain to launch an exclusive suite of agentic AI bundles for enterprise customers in Bahrain, integrating its technology into stc Bahrain's business offering. Egyptinnovate reported in June 2026 that Velents had joined Anthropic's Claude Partner Network.
Velents raised a seed round in late 2023 led by A15, Wamda reported, and in July 2024 closed a special round led by Women Collective, with more than 80 percent of the money from women investors, including six first-time angels. Neither amount was disclosed. In October 2025 it announced USD 1.5 million from angel investors, including senior executives from Google and BCG, and said a larger round was expected in early 2026. Egyptinnovate reported in June 2026 that the company was preparing a new round of about USD 3 million.
