About سوليدرتي

Solidarity Bahrain B.S.C. is an insurer listed on Bahrain Bourse under the trading code SOLID and a subsidiary of Solidarity Group Holding. In its May 2026 results release it described itself as one of the largest insurance companies in Bahrain. Its website lists motor, health, life, travel and business insurance.

Solidarity Group Holding, in a paid press release published by Entrepreneur Middle East in October 2026, said the group was established in 2003-2004 as an Islamic insurer in Bahrain and became a holding company in 2009-2010, with each business set up as a separately capitalised, regulated subsidiary. The release says the group is headquartered in Bahrain, has regulated subsidiaries in Jordan, the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and sells through a bancassurance channel run through its parent, Al Salam Bank. It names Ashraf Bseisu as group chief executive and says the group holds an estimated 35 percent of Bahrain's insurance market. These are the group's own statements.

The same release lists the group's acquisitions: Yarmouk Insurance in Jordan in 2016, Al Ahlia Insurance in Bahrain in 2017-2018, T'azur Insurance in 2019-2020, a regulator-driven merger with Al Jazira Takaful in Saudi Arabia in 2020-2021, Al Hilal Life and Al Hilal Takaful from Ahli United Bank Bahrain in 2023, and Bahrain National Insurance and Bahrain National Life in 2024-2025. It calls the last its largest deal.

Gulf Daily News reported on 9 March 2026 that Bahrain National Insurance Company and Bahrain National Life Assurance Company had merged into Solidarity Bahrain, calling it one of the kingdom's most significant insurance sector mergers, and that the company had appointed nine Bahraini leaders for their role in delivering it. Jawad Mohammed is chief executive of Solidarity Bahrain.

For the three months to 31 March 2026 the company reported net profit attributable to shareholders of BD 1.833 million, against BD 1.258 million a year earlier, and total net profit and surplus of BD 2.339 million. Total assets were BD 185.354 million, down from BD 208.261 million at the end of 2025, and equity attributable to shareholders was BD 51.395 million.
