About سيرج من بيك إكس في

Surge by Peak XV is a seed-stage programme run by Peak XV Partners, the venture capital firm, for early-stage founders. The programme page describes it as seed funding for founders at day zero and says Peak XV invests between $500,000 and $5 million in seed capital, with room for co-investors. Embedded operators support start-ups in hiring, product, policy, communications, engineering, go-to-market and global expansion. Peak XV lists offices in the United States, India, Singapore and the UAE.

Surge is led by Peak XV managing directors Rajan Anandan and Shailendra Singh, who both appear on its team page. In an interview published on Peak XV's site, the two described the programme as becoming increasingly global.

When Peak XV announced the ninth Surge cohort on 23 October 2023, TechNode reported 13 start-ups and 32 founders from India, Singapore and Australia, the first cohort to include Australia-based companies. The programme offered up to $3 million in seed capital over a 16-week hybrid format. TechNode said Surge had by then run nine cohorts with more than 330 founders and over 140 start-ups, and that Peak XV was formerly Sequoia Capital India and Southeast Asia.

The Surge site now reports more than 170 companies and over 400 founders, follow-on funding of more than $3 billion raised by Surge companies, and a founder community of more than 17 nationalities. These are the programme's own figures. Its portfolio examples include Airalo, Atlan, Multiplier, Relevance AI, Skillmatics and Khatabook.

Surge has backed at least one Gulf company. Wamda reported that Surge led a $3 million seed round in Amaani, the Dubai company behind the AÏZA beauty brand, in September 2025, and that it took part in Amaani's $5 million Series A led by BECO Capital in September 2026. A headline on Peak XV's site, attributed to TechCrunch and dated 28 September 2026, says Peak XV raised Surge's seed investment ceiling to $5 million and unveiled an 18-startup cohort.
