About أوكتا

Octa, styled OCTA, is a financial-software company based in Abu Dhabi that builds AI tools for accounting firms and small businesses. Its website describes a platform in which AI agents run repeatable client work and the firm's team reviews and approves the output.

The company was founded in 2024 by Jon Santillan, who is chief executive, and Nupur Mittal, chief operating officer. EnterpriseAM also named Andrey Korchak as a third founder in June 2025. Dealroom reports that Santillan previously co-founded the remittance company Denarii, whose assets Careem acquired in 2022, and that Mittal came to Octa from Careem Pay after working at BCG.

Octa began with software for small and medium businesses to manage invoices, collections, approvals and payments. By June 2025 EnterpriseAM said it had worked with more than 500 businesses, including Careem and ZenHR, had processed more than USD 290 million in invoices and had entered Saudi Arabia in early 2025. Its newer product, OCTA Flow, uses AI agents for bookkeeping, reconciliations and month-end close. The website lists integrations with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho and Wafeq.

Octa reported that more than 520 firms signed up for OCTA Flow within six weeks of launch, that it processed 172,000 transactions in August 2026 and that it freed more than USD 75,000 in billable capacity. TechScoop noted these are sign-ups, not paying customers. The site says its safeguards align with ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS and GDPR.

Octa raised a USD 2.25 million pre-seed round in October 2024, co-led by Quona Capital and Sadu Capital. In June 2025 Sukna Fund for Direct Financing extended a USD 20 million credit facility for working capital for Saudi small businesses. On 17 September 2026 Octa announced a USD 3.5 million seed round led by Middle East Venture Partners, with Wa'ed Ventures, Plug and Play, A-typical Ventures, Sukna Ventures and Sadu Capital. The company puts total equity raised at USD 5.7 million and has not disclosed a valuation. It plans to expand in the United States.
