About نسك

Nusuk is a Saudi digital platform and mobile app for planning and managing Hajj, Umrah and visits to Islamic holy sites. It was developed and is operated by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, and it is available on iOS and Android and as a web application in 25 languages, according to Wikipedia.

The ministry launched Nusuk on 26 September 2022 as a single electronic gateway for visitors to Mecca and Medina, succeeding the earlier Eatmarna app. Its services include Umrah permits, bookings for visits to Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah, crowd-density checks, Haramain high-speed rail tickets, hotel and flight booking, maps and guided tours. The ministry said in 2025 that the app offered more than 100 digital services.

The platform has several channels. Nusuk Hajj covers Hajj registration and package booking, including the Direct Hajj Program for countries without official Hajj missions. Nusuk Umrah, launched in August 2025, lets international pilgrims apply for Umrah visas and book services without an intermediary. The Nusuk Card, introduced in 2024, is an identification and access document linked to the Nusuk and Tawakkalna apps. Partners named include accredited local agents, Saudi telecom providers, Saudi government platforms and licensed tour operators. Offline access was arranged with Saudi telecom providers in August 2025, and home delivery of Zamzam water within Saudi Arabia was added in October 2025.

Downloads passed 30 million by September 2025, up from 12 million in 2024, and the ministry reported users in more than 190 countries, with over 90 percent outside Saudi Arabia. In March 2026 the minister reported more than 51 million users worldwide.

A TechScoop report of September 2026 describes Nusuk as a core platform that technology vendors may need to integrate with, ahead of the Umrah and Visit Forum 2027 convened by the ministry in Jeddah.
