About نو نيردز
NoNerds is a Jordanian education technology startup founded in 2022 by Mohammad Alsufi. It built an AI-native marketplace on which students and instructors can create, distribute and sell educational content, with an AI layer that learns from the uploaded course material rather than giving generic answers. From a video lecture, the platform generates flashcards, exam-style questions, study notes, summaries and a personalised learning path based on what the instructor actually said. Students can put questions about a specific lesson by text or voice and receive answers drawn from the course content itself. According to regional startup coverage, the platform hosted more than 120 courses and 6,000 lectures, served around 12,000 students and recorded over 128,000 hours of content watched. Most of its users were university students in Jordan. In June 2026, Zawya and other regional outlets reported that NoNerds had been acquired by JoAcademy, the Jordanian e-learning platform, in a deal valued at USD 140,000. NoNerds' AI infrastructure is to be folded into JoAcademy's platform, and Alsufi joins JoAcademy to lead artificial intelligence initiatives across its regional operations in Jordan, Iraq, Palestine and Saudi Arabia. One outlet described the transaction as a funding raise rather than an acquisition, but most reports describe a sale. Alsufi is described in press coverage as a 19-year-old founder who began building online businesses at 14 with web design, set up a web development company in Dubai at 16, and also founded an AI research lab called Brainsless.
