On 29 June 2026 IHG reported 48 open hotels and 62 in the pipeline in Saudi Arabia, where InterContinental Riyadh opened in 1975, and said it plans to bring all six Luxury & Lifestyle brands to the kingdom by 2028. On 29 September 2026 it announced the Middle East debut of Garner Hotels through two UAE signings with Nooa Holdings. On 12 October 2026 it signed the 250-key Crowne Plaza New Cairo with Kleek Development and said it has 10 hotels in Egypt and 28 in the pipeline.

For 2025 IHG reported total revenue of $5,189 million, operating profit of $1,198 million and profit for the year of $759 million. It opened a record 443 hotels, signed 694, acquired the Ruby brand, and paid $900 million in share buybacks and $270 million in dividends. On 17 February 2026 it launched the Noted Collection brand and started a $950 million buyback programme.

In its trading update of 22 October 2026, IHG reported third-quarter global RevPAR growth of 5.3 percent, net system growth of 4.9 percent and a pipeline of 353,000 rooms in 2,426 hotels, and described a broadly flat performance in the Middle East.
