About فريشا

Fresha is a London-headquartered software company for the beauty and wellness industry. Consumers use its app and marketplace to find, book and pay for appointments at salons, barbers, spas and similar businesses, and businesses use its software to manage bookings, reminders, consultation forms and in-app payments.

Fresha launched in 2015 as Shedul and was renamed Fresha in 2020, according to a 2021 General Atlantic release. William Zeqiri is founder and chief executive, and Nicholas Miller is co-founder and chief product officer. A May 2026 KKR release also named Marcin Dąbrowski as deputy chief product officer and Paweł Iwanów as chief payments officer.

The 2021 release described the software as free to businesses, with revenue coming from usage fees on card payments and online bookings. KKR reported in May 2026 that more than 130,000 businesses use the platform, with more than 35 million appointments a month and annual gross merchandise value above $15 billion, and that its strongest markets are the United Kingdom, Australasia and the GCC. Fresha's own announcement the same month cited a revenue run-rate above $140 million and growth of more than 60 percent a year.

In July 2025 Fresha said its platform was available in Arabic, with established teams in Dubai and Saudi Arabia and new local operations in Qatar, Oman and Kuwait. In July 2026 it opened a larger office in Warsaw. In August 2026 it connected its marketplace to ChatGPT and Claude through a public Model Context Protocol server, and in September 2026 its point-of-sale software received NF525 certification in France.

General Atlantic led a $100 million Series C in June 2021. A further $52 million extension, led by Michael Lahyani and BECO Capital, followed in December 2021 at a valuation above $640 million, bringing total funding to $182 million at that point. On 21 May 2026 Fresha announced an $80 million primary growth investment from funds managed by KKR at a valuation above $1 billion, with total capital raised of $285 million. The company says it is already profitable and plans to spend the money on international expansion and AI tools.
