About آيزا
AÏZA is a skincare and haircare brand sold in the Gulf and owned by Amaani, a consumer company based in Dubai. Its products are built around ingredients associated with Arab beauty traditions, including dates, black seed, frankincense, rose and bakhoor, and are developed with laboratories in Korea, Japan and Italy. Its website lists products such as Date Latte, a skin barrier moisturiser, the Iced Qahwa Brightening Eye Cream, the Scent Storm Protective Hair Mist and the Sukkar Rush High Shine Lip Treatment.
Shubham Poddar is the founder and chief executive of Amaani. He said in September 2026 that he left Sequoia Capital India about three years earlier to build the company. Wamda gives 2023 as the year Amaani was founded in Dubai. AÏZA launched in December 2024, and its online store at aiza.co offers country options for Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
The brand sells through its own site, Ounass and Ulta Beauty. Wamda reported that AÏZA ranks among the top ten of more than 300 brands at Ulta in the UAE, a company-reported figure, and that it is the first Middle Eastern brand on the BeautyMatter NEXT50 list of emerging beauty and wellness companies. AÏZA said launches with Ulta Beauty were planned at Red Sea Mall in Jeddah and Riyadh Park in Riyadh at the end of September 2026, with Kuwait and Qatar expected in the fourth quarter.
Wamda reported that Amaani raised a $3 million seed round in September 2025 led by Peak XV's Surge. On 28 September 2026 Amaani announced a $5 million Series A led by BECO Capital, with Homegrown Ventures and Surge also taking part, bringing total funding to $8 million. Amaani said the money will go to expansion into Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar, product development, hiring and technology, with Saudi Arabia the priority market.
Amaani reported that AÏZA's net revenue grew more than ninefold year on year in the first half of 2026 as it moved from digital-first sales into regional retail. TechScoop noted that the growth figures are company-reported and unaudited.
