About ألو حكيم

Alo Hakeem is a Syrian home healthcare company based in Aleppo. It runs a digital platform and a call centre that connect patients with licensed healthcare providers who visit them at home. The services listed are medical consultations, nursing, physiotherapy, elderly care, laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging. The Disruptor reported that the platform checks the credentials and licences of the professionals it lists and lets Syrians living abroad arrange care for relatives in Syria.

Alo Hakeem was founded in 2025 by Abdullatif Al-Baroudi, who is described as co-founder and chief executive, and Albaraa Abdulsalam. Entarabi reported that the company began on its own funds and built its first working version through market research and direct contact with patients and healthcare professionals. It then joined the ScaleUp 2025 programme and received mentoring from ChangeMakers, which Maynger Ventures runs, and from Thimar, an initiative that prepares Syrian startups for investment. MENA Startup Digest listed Alo Hakeem among four startups in Thimar's Thimar Stars cohort in May 2026.

The company currently serves Aleppo, Damascus and Hama. It plans to add four more Syrian governorates by the end of 2027 and has not named them. The Disruptor reported more than 1,000 users served through a network of over 100 healthcare providers, a figure that no other outlet repeated. The public launch of its mobile app is planned for November 2026.

In October 2026 Alo Hakeem announced a pre-seed round of 165,000 US dollars led by EBLA Ventures. Other investors were not named and no valuation was disclosed. Wamda reported that the money will go to technology infrastructure, the provider network and the team, and to moving from a minimum viable product to a full app. The Disruptor described the round as the third investment EBLA Ventures made in 2026. Ayman Hammoush, a partner and managing director at EBLA Ventures, commented on the investment in TechScoop's coverage.
