About Agent.sa
Agent.sa is an Arabic-language AI automation platform from Velents, a company with a team in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Velents describes Agent.sa as an autonomous Arabic-speaking digital employee that handles phone calls, WhatsApp conversations, customer requests, tasks and data analysis. TechScoop describes Velents as Riyadh-based.
Velents was founded by Mohamed Gaber, chief executive, and Abdulaziz Almuhaydib, chief operating officer. It began with recruitment software and, according to Almuhaydib's June 2026 interview, has operated since early 2023 as a sovereign AI company focused on applicant tracking, video interviewing and AI recruiting before moving into agentic AI. Its target clients are government, semi-government and large enterprise organisations.
The Agent.sa site presents three agents. Connector links systems, syncs customer records and organises workflows. Reader extracts key points from documents. Communicator handles conversations by phone, WhatsApp and SMS. The site says the platform supports more than 20 Arabic dialects, is hosted in Saudi Arabia and complies with Saudi data-protection law, and it lists solutions for government, education, finance, healthcare, hospitality and real estate. It names no customers; performance figures on the site, such as 90 percent first-contact resolution, are the company's own and unaudited. Velents' main site names the Egyptian Ministry of Communications, the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and SAB Bank in case studies and lists Safha, a document platform, as a sister product.
Velents announced a 1.5 million US dollar round on 28 October 2025, reported by Disrupt Africa and Empower Africa as coming from angel investors including senior executives from Google and Boston Consulting Group. TechScoop reports an earlier seed round in December 2023 led by A15, with Nibras Capital and AUC Venture Lab. The June 2026 interview names Claude, Red Hat and IBM as strategic partners and describes Velents as the first Arab company in Anthropic's Claude Partner Network.
In September 2026 Velents signed an agreement with stc Bahrain to offer an exclusive bundle of agentic AI tools to Bahraini businesses.
