FII Institute launches “Blueprint for Healthy Humanity”

FII Institute launches the Blueprint for Healthy Humanity to promote prevention, screening, and equitable healthcare worldwide amid rising chronic diseases.

The Future Investment Initiative (FII) Institute has unveiled its Blueprint for Healthy Humanity, a global framework designed to help countries and organizations pivot from reactive treatment to preventive healthcare. The launch took place in Riyadh, marking the latest step in the Institute’s ongoing mission to drive sustainable human development through science and technology.

According to the FII Institute’s announcement, the blueprint focuses on four pillars like Prevention, Screening & Diagnostics, Health Management, and Education & Upskilling. The report cites evidence that up to 80% of chronic diseases stem from lifestyle factors rather than genetics, and highlights the economic potential of prevention: every $1 invested in preventive care can generate up to $6 in savings through reduced healthcare costs.

The blueprint also references global demographic shifts, noting that by 2040, the world’s population aged 65 and older will reach nearly 1.5 billion, according to United Nations data. Individuals currently spend an average of nine years in poor health, a figure that underlines the need for early detection and lifestyle-based interventions.

The report urges governments, insurers, and private companies to adopt measurable prevention targets and to offer free health check-ups every two years. It calls for public–private partnerships to fund early diagnostics, broaden access to digital health tools, and ensure equitable care delivery across populations.

In its recommendations, the FII Institute highlights artificial intelligence (AI) and digital platforms as key enablers of large-scale screening programs. The approach mirrors similar global efforts by organizations such as the Wellcome Trust and World Health Organization (WHO), both of which have pushed for tech-enabled prevention and community health strategies.

The Blueprint for Healthy Humanity follows the Institute’s earlier collaboration with the Hevolution Foundation, which released a joint whitepaper on healthy aging and longevity. That report emphasized the importance of extending health-span rather than merely lifespan, highlighting the economic and social benefits of keeping populations active for longer.

This initiative also builds momentum ahead of the FII9 Conference, scheduled for October 27–30, 2025, in Riyadh. The event is expected to gather global policymakers, investors, and scientists to discuss actionable frameworks for human wellbeing and sustainable growth.
